As the wife of a former NFL
player, attending games by myself, either home or away, never seemed
very interesting. I know I would've been more excited if I had someone
to come to the games with me and keep me company while supporting my
husband as he played. Knowing that you are the only one, or one of very
few wives that attend games, may not make you eager to go. We all know
that our husbands or boyfriends would love to have the support of the
very important women and families in their lives.
I believe that we all want to be involved in some way. The women and
families of The Crusaders Wife's Association
will attend practice and games together. We will sit together to keep
each other company, as well as show support to the main men in our
lives. We will meet at the home games, and travel together (by carpool,
if necessary) to away games. When there are community events, we will go
to help and support our husbands/boyfriends and to show the City of New
York and Westchester County that this team has the support of its loved ones.
By coming out to support our husbands and boyfriends, we can help
make this team a greater success than it already is showing to be.
Please come out and give them all the love and support that they
deserve. You will meet fascinating people and make new friends with whom
you'll already have something in common: your husband or boyfriend as a
member of the Crusaders Minor League Football Club.
Although we are called "The Wife's Association", we welcome anyone who
is interested in coming out to support the Crusaders: girlfriends,
parents, sons, daughters, friends, anyone! Email us below to join.
